Top 2 tasks to get started with your booking system

Getting started with any new system can be daunting. It might be that, well, tech is not really your thing. Or perhaps, you simply do not find it interesting. After all, you teach be because you love to teach and love the people interaction.

A booking system is just a tool - it is there to take the hard work out of managing class bookings and payments. Enabling you to manage class sizes, automate payment, reduce no shows and enabling you to communicate with your students efficiently.

Like other systems, the initial challenge with reserVie is getting familiar enough with the system to get classes published and to start selling. reserVie is a powerful system with lots of features, should you choose to use them. However, getting a class online is deceptively simple and requires just 2 simple steps:

Step 1: Create a schedule

A ‘schedule’ is an automated timetable that allows you to publish your classes simply and easily. Typically only one schedule is required for all of your classes. Once you have created a schedule you can publish this to your website and hey presto, any events you add will be published and ready for sell.

Step 2: Add an event

An event is what reservie uses to represent a class, workshop, retreat or indeed any other event. Creating an event is simple. The system uses a ‘wizard’ to guide you through the process. Once complete the event will publish.

Any classes that you start, can simply be added as another event.

Top tip: When publishing an event, it might take a few minutes to arrive on your schedule - do not fret, it will arrive.

That’s it, we these two parts in place - you are ready to start selling.
