Notifications

Notifications are messages that are sent by the system to customers when the system detects a specific event. Reservie supports the following classes of notification:

Registration

Registration notifications are notifications that are sent to customers when they first setup an account on reserVie. It provides details on how the customer can access their account and view their purchases.

reserVie provides a default ‘registration’ notification which we recommend using. However, this default registration can be override by defining a registration message in the notification editor

Event purchase

Event purchase notifications are notifications that are sent to customers when they purchase an event with reserVie or are manually booked into an event via the administrator. The notification can be configured to specify details of what the customer has purchased or has been booked in to.

reserVie does not provide a default ‘event purchase’ notification and so it is recommended the you create the event for your account.

Pass purchase

Pass purchase notifications are notifications that are sent to customers when they purchase a pass with reserVie or are manually assigned a pass via the administrator. The notification can be configured to specify details of what the customer has purchased.

reserVie provides a default ‘pass purchase’ notification, however, you may override this pass purchase notice by creating your own.

Event cancellation

Event cancellation notifications are notifications that are sent to customers when their space on an event is cancelled. The notification can be configured to specify details of what the customer has cancelled.

reserVie does not provide a default ‘event cancellation’ notification and so it is recommended the you create the event for your account.

Event waiting list

Event cancellation notifications are notifications that are sent to people that are registered to a waiting list that is associated to an event. The notification activates when the space assigned to a customer that had previously booked an associated event is cancelled, resulting in the ‘Event waiting list’ message being sent to all people on the waiting list.

reserVie does not provide a default ‘event waiting list’ notification and so you may wish to add this to your account.

Signed mandate

Sent to the customer when they initially sign a subscription mandate. The aim of the message is to confirm the mandate has been signed and to provide details of the mandate’s subscription cycle and cancellation term.

reserVie provides a default ‘signed mandate’ notification that is sent to all clients upon signing a mandate. This is considered mandatory.

Mandate suspended

In the event of a mandate being suspended, either on request from the Admin or in the event of a payment issue, this notification is sent to the customer.

reserVie provides a default ‘mandate suspended’ notification. This is considered mandatory.

Mandate re-activated

In the event of a mandate being re-activated, either on request from the Admin or in the event of a payment issue which originally resulted in the suspension being resolved, this notification is sent to the customer.

reserVie provides a default ‘mandate re-activated’ notification. This is considered mandatory.

Mandate cancelled

In the event of a mandate being cancelled, either on request from the Admin or by the customer, this notification is sent.

reserVie provides a default ‘mandate cancelled’ notification. This is considered mandatory.

Subscription invoice created

When a mandate is approaching the due date, an invoice is generated to inform the customer that a payment is due to be taken shortly. Upon creating an invoice, the system will send a notification to the customer. This provides a summary of the upcoming payment and gives detail of how the full invoice can be accessed.

reserVie provides a default ‘Subscription invoice created’ notification. This is considered mandatory.

Subscription invoice paid

Once an invoice has been paid, a notification is sent to the customer to confirm the sale.

reserVie provides a default ‘Subscription invoice paid’ notification. This is considered mandatory.

Subscription invoice error

Once the subscription invoice is due, automatic payment will be attempted. If payment fails, the customer will be informed. This notification provides details on the nature of the failure e.g, lack of funds, re-authorisation requested via their bank etc and provides detail on how to resolve the error.

reserVie provides a default ‘Subscription invoice error’ notification. This is considered mandatory.
