The reformer studio problem
Most booking tools don’t understand a reformer studio
In a reformer studio your capacity is hardwired to your machines. Software that only counts heads or room size will over-book your reformers and leave you sorting it out on the floor.
Your room fits twelve, your studio seats six
Reformer capacity is fixed to your machine count, not the size of the floor — six reformers means six spots, even if twelve mats would fit. Most tools give you a single headcount box, which can’t tell a reformer place from a mat place or hold a room total on top, so you either over-book the machines or throw away seats.
A “reformer + mat” class is really two counts
Run a hybrid session and you have reformer spots and mat spots in the same class. They fill at different rates and need counting separately, which a single headcount field can’t do.
A 10-class pack isn’t ten separate bookings
Pilates sells on 5- and 10-class packs and capped memberships, not one-off drop-ins. A calendar that only takes single bookings can’t count down credits, enforce expiry dates or stop someone spending a pack they’ve already used up — so you reconcile it by hand.
A no-show on six machines really hurts
With only six to twelve reformers, an empty spot at peak time is a lost high-value seat, not a rounding error. Without an automatic waitlist, that revenue just walks.
Why we built it
The teachers who couldn’t find software that fit built their own
reservie was built by a teacher who spent years hunting for booking software that actually fit studio classes. Everything on the market was either too basic to run a proper timetable, or buried a simple job under features and fees built for a gym chain. So he built his own.
The part that matters for a pilates studio is that capacity is something you set per class, not per room. Cap a class to your reformers and it holds the line, the same way a yoga class caps to its mats, so teachers who run both use the same reservie for both. And when you email support, you reach the person who built it, not a call centre.
Everything in one place
What reservie does for pilates studios
A booking system that speaks reformer, mat and apparatus, not a generic calendar bolted onto your website.
Equipment-aware capacity
Cap reformer places to your machine count, add a separate mat cap, and set a total room limit on top. reservie holds every limit at once and never books past your equipment, even when you’re shuffling the schedule.
Mixed reformer + mat classes
Sell a hybrid session with reformer places and mat places counted separately, so each fills to its own limit in the same class on your timetable.
Class packs, memberships & expiry
Sell 5- and 10-class packs, capped or unlimited memberships and intro offers. reservie tracks each client’s remaining credits and enforces expiry rules, so you don’t have to.
Automatic waitlists & backfill
When a full reformer class has a cancellation, the next person on the waitlist is offered the spot automatically. Your most valuable seats stay full without you chasing them.
Privates, duets & intro sessions
Run 1:1 privates, duets and foundation sessions alongside your group timetable. Clients book the format that suits them and you manage classes and appointments in one place.
Injury & contraindication notes
A simple intake field lets clients flag lower-back, knee, postnatal or hypermobility concerns when they book, and it surfaces on your class register before they’re on the machine.
Also perfect for barre
Running barre classes too? It’s the same setup
Barre runs on the same recurring-class timetable with packs and memberships, and where your studio has a fixed number of barres or props, the same equipment-aware capacity keeps each class to its real limit. If you teach barre alongside your reformer and mat schedule, it all lives in one system, one timetable and one set of client credits.

Pilates booking system FAQs
Can reservie limit class size to my number of reformers?
Yes. Set a class’s capacity to your machine count and reservie never books past it, even during schedule changes, so six reformers always means six spots. Your room might fit twelve mats, but the booking limit follows your equipment, not your floor space.
Does it handle mixed reformer and mat classes?
Yes. Reformer places and mat places are counted separately in the same session, so a hybrid “reformer + mat” class fills each type to its own limit rather than sharing one headcount.
Can I sell class packs and memberships?
Yes. You can sell 5- and 10-class packs, capped or unlimited monthly memberships and intro offers, and reservie tracks remaining credits and enforces expiry rules automatically.
Can I offer private and duet sessions too?
Yes. You can run 1:1 privates, duets and intro sessions alongside your group timetable, so your class schedule and your appointments live in one system.
How much does a pilates booking system cost?
Plans start at £3/month with a 30-day free trial. Starter and Growth include a small transaction fee (2% and 1.5% respectively); Pro has no transaction fee. The upcoming Reservie mobile app is included on Pro, or available on Starter and Growth as a £15.99/month add-on.

No. The founder helps you migrate your classes, packs and clients and set everything up personally, so you’re not left to work it out alone. Most studios are up and running well within their free trial.
