Short Links for Your Studio

Updated Sep 14, 2026 3 min read

Short web addresses for anything you share from reservie, so a class link fits in a text message, an Instagram bio or a poster.

Why they exist

When you share a class or event from reservie, the web address can be long. It is fine on a website, but it looks clumsy in a text message, takes up half an Instagram bio, and nobody is going to type it off a poster.

So we give every page you share a short version instead. It fits anywhere, it is easy to copy, and it works on a flyer.

rsvi.uk is ours

Short links use rsvi.uk. That is reservie’s own address, owned and run by us, and it exists for one purpose: shortening links to reservie pages.

It is not a third-party shortening service. Nothing else is hosted on it, we do not sell it to anyone, and a link beginning rsvi.uk/ can only ever lead to a page in reservie. Nobody can use one to send your customers somewhere else.

Worth knowing, because short addresses are sometimes treated with suspicion, and if a student asks you what rsvi.uk is you can tell them plainly.

The two kinds

Your studio’s own address points at your landing page and reads as your studio name, for example rsvi.uk/meadowyoga. It is the one for an Instagram bio, a poster or the back of a business card, because you can say it out loud.

Everything else you share gets six characters after rsvi.uk/, generated for you. Schedules, passes, subscriptions and events each get their own. They are not meant to be readable, only short.

What happens when someone taps it

They go straight to your page on reservie. There is no holding page in between, no advert, and nothing for them to click through.

The short address hands them over to the full reservie.net one, so that is what they will see in the address bar once the page opens. That is worth knowing rather than a problem: anyone who checks where they have ended up sees reservie, not an address they do not recognise.

The handover is permanent, which also means a search engine that follows a short link gives the credit to the reservie page behind it. Sharing the short version rather than the long one costs you nothing.

If a short link is mistyped, or points at something that is no longer there, the visitor gets a plain page-not-found. They are never sent somewhere unexpected.

What it does for you

Every short link counts how many times it has been opened, so you can see whether the link in your newsletter or the one on your noticeboard is the one people use.

If you add tracking tags to a link, for example to see which of your Instagram posts brought the bookings, those come through to your page as well.

If it is ever unavailable

If the short link service is down you will simply see the long address instead. Your bookings do not depend on it.

Where you will see them

Your landing page gets one automatically when you publish it, shown next to the full address with a copy button.
